SOLV Beach Clean UP

On Saturday, March 22 the Mighty Women Board members retreated to the Oregon Coast where they spent the morning participating in the SOLV Beach Clean up.

Prison Release Bags

MWPC initiated a service project in November/December 2005. We organized and assembled prison release bags for women who are released from Coffee Creek Correctional Institution in Wilsonville.

Mighty Women were able to encourage other local women's paddling teams to get involved. Wasabi and Pink Phoenix were very generous in their release bag donations and assembly. The women being released will now have personal care supplies to make life a bit easier as they re-enter society.
