A wonderful season of racing!

MW had a great racing season! We raced in Tacoma WA, Kent WA, Salem OR, Victoria BC and Portland OR! It was a fun season with lots of new faces. Salem turned out to be a really fun race that was close and we ended up kicking butt and taking 3rd in our division!

Now is the time we get our river back from all the crazies out on the river. It is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Lucky for us our temperatures are pretty even thoughout the winter and that makes for great paddling weather.

For fundraising we have already had our annual plant sale, garage sale and pointsettia sale! We were very successful this year.

In between all of the racing and fundraising we have fun social events and get togethers. Our first big event we had was bowling. It wasn't your ordinary bowling either! It had couches to sit on, served nice food, had big screen TV's and waiters to serve us. We had a blast! We are also doing community service in various ways. We have donated to food banks, help with keeping our wonderful Willamette clean and plan to have another big community project happen.

We are always looking to add to our wonderful team...so if you want to join a team that you will meet new people, get in shape and have fun, you have found the right place! Paddles up!
